The Sherman was the very first RC model for TAMIYA and laid the foundation for an extremely successful range. The model was presented in 1974 and 50 years later TAMIYA is releasing the 56014 in an anniversary version. This version includes some bonus parts.
The US M4 Sherman with 105mm howitzer was developed as a fire support vehicle and equipped with a 9-cylinder 4-stroke radial engine. The engine was originally developed for use in aeroplanes and enabled a top speed of around 40 km/h. The 1:16 scale model is powered by 2 type 380 electric motors. The motors are controlled independently of each other, allowing the model to turn on the spot. The scope of delivery includes the DMD control unit T-05 and the multifunction module MF-02. The sound module reproduces all sounds, the engine sounds were recorded on a Continental R975-C4 9-cylinder engine. LEDs even simulate the muzzle flash and the recoil when firing the gun is also simulated.

ATTENTION!
Before you start assembling the model, you should have read and understood all the instructions. If a child is assembling the model, a supervising adult should also have read the assembly instructions.
Tools including knives are used when assembling the kit. Special care should be taken to avoid injury.
If difficulties arise during assembly, ask an adult to supervise the work or a model builder with RC experience or a specialist dealer.
Only use tools for their intended purpose. There is a risk of injury if used incorrectly.
If you use paint and/or glue (not included in the kit), observe and follow the instructions supplied with the kit.
Keep the kit away from small children. Prevent children from putting any components in their mouths or pulling plastic bags over their heads.
