The TAMIYA TRF421 is a high-end competition model for the race track! It consists mainly of carbon fibre, aluminium and has been redesigned!
The technical highlights include new 7mm longer wishbones which are now attached directly to the chassis, 2 belts of the same length to the front and rear, new rear axle, new 5.5mm shorter shock absorbers. A striking feature is the new attachment of the shock absorbers to the diff housings, which means that the model does not require shock towers.
Drive shafts with double joints at the front and universal universal joints at the rear are installed for efficient drive. The lower chassis is particularly narrow and made of carbon fibre. The kit includes 2 upper decks (one-piece and two-piece).

Before you start assembling, you should have read and understood all the instructions. If a child is assembling the model, a supervising adult should also have read the assembly instructions.
Tools including knives are used when assembling the kit. Special care should be taken to avoid injury.
If difficulties arise during assembly, ask an adult to supervise the work or a model builder with RC experience or a specialist dealer.
Only use tools for their intended purpose. There is a risk of injury if used incorrectly.
If you use paint and/or glue (not included in the kit), observe and follow the instructions supplied with the kit.
Keep the kit away from small children. Prevent children from putting any parts in their mouths or pulling plastic bags over their heads.

- Timing belts to the front and rear have the same length
- Mounting for the main gear has been completely redesigned. Changing/fixing is now done with just one screw.
- Narrower lower chassis compared to the 420X
- Choice of 2 different upper decks: one-piece and two-piece upper deck. The upper deck can thus be built in 5 different setups using screws.
- A-shaped suspension arms for high stability.
- The longer lower wishbones are mounted to the suspension blocks using ball heads. Approx. 7mm longer wishbones ensure high stability and improved driving dynamics
- Toe-in can be adjusted via the uprights
- 3 selectable damper mountings (inside, centre, outside) on the front and rear lower wishbones
- Caster can be changed via the upper wishbones (front 3.4.5 degrees; rear -0.5, -1.5 and -2.5 degrees)
- 5.5mm shorter dampers than the TRF420X for a particularly low centre of gravity, less weight and more driving dynamics
