The stand model is a replica of the McDonnell Douglas F-15C Eagle. McDonnell Douglas was awarded the contract to develop the F-15 Eagle jet fighter in December 1969. The Eagle's advanced aerodynamic design significantly reduced drag in both low and high lift configurations and achieved superior manoeuvrability in a variety of flight conditions. In 1979, an improved version of the Eagle was introduced as the F-15C. A notable change was the increase in fuel capacity, but even more fuel was made possible by the conformal fuel tanks located between the wings and pressed against the jet intake ramps.
Kit model, scale 1:32, instructions, figure, decals, movable nose and access hatches, wingspan 408 mm, length 605 mm.
