Item no.: 1:350 Japanese Yukikaze destroyer

The stand model is a replica of the Japanese Yukikaze destroyer, which was completed on 20 January 1940. Together with her sister ships Hatsukaze, Amatukaze and Tokitukaze, she became part of the 16th Destroyer Division under the command of the light cruiser Jintsu. At the beginning of the Second World War, the 16th Destroyer Division was part of the forces that conquered the Philippines. On 5 December 1941, the Yukikaze took part in fierce fighting with American forces near Palau and supported the invasion forces in Legazpi. As part of the post-war reparations agreement, the Yukikaze was transferred to the Republic of China and became a reserve training ship in 1966.
