The TAMIYA Mercedes-Benz Actros 1851 GigaSpace is a perfect replica of the Truck of the Year 2012. The 1:14 scale model shows the high-roof version of the 510 hp top version of the world's largest truck manufacturer. Chrome-plated components, such as the mighty Mercedes star, give the 458 mm long and approximately 3 kg heavy kit its true-to-life appearance. Particularly striking on the latest addition to TAMIYA's unsurpassed truck series are the illuminated position lights, chrome-plated fanfares and wide tyres as standard. Other new details such as two additional blind spot mirrors and the finely reproduced fuel tanks characterise the prototypical appearance. Thanks to its powerful electric motor, which transmits its torque to the rear axle via a shiftable 3-speed manual gearbox, impressive combinations can be put together. The prototypical fifth wheel plate of the remote-controlled model allows it to be coupled with numerous TAMIYA and CARSON-MODEL SPORT trailers. With the optionally available multifunctional unit, the TAMIYA Mercedes-Benz Actros simulates almost all the sound and light functions of its great role model, the king of the roads.
