The Cyberpontificate is a realm of technological oppression ruled by High Lord Jean Malraux, the first and only true Cyberpope. According to the teachings of the Church, the flesh is sinful and the metal is pure.

The Cyberpontificate appeared in Avignon in the role of a saviour and fought valiantly against the demons and invaders from other realms. It has since spread to all of France and Spain, and even as far away as Brazil.

Within the cyberpontificate, people humbly pray on their knees. They fear witches and demons that can lurk anywhere. If only they pray hard enough and abide by the laws of the benevolent church, they will be granted the chance to upgrade their imperfect flesh with shiny, mechanical cyberware.
