DSA5: The Suncoast - Book Plastic Cover (DE-Edition)

From the cloud-crowned High Eternals to the ever-wet swamps of Harodia, from the dusty, remote hinterland of Chababia to the pastures of the Cyclopean Isles hemmed in by rocky bluffs - the Sun Coast is perhaps the most geographically, culturally and commercially diverse region of the entire Aventurian West Coast.

This regional game aid provides you with supplementary background material on the Sun Coast. The south of the Horas Empire is characterised by cultural diversity in a Mediterranean idyll. Proud cities rise on the ruins of long-gone civilisations. While the inhabitants of the Wild South are distinguished above all by their pronounced self-confidence and complex rules of social cohesion, the Cyclopeans are known for their love of philosophy and for the almost stoic calm with which they accept the harsh conditions in the Cyclopean Sea and come to terms with the mysterious fairies residing all over the archipelago.

Eleven professions suited to the region are introduced, including the determined law-keeper, the inquisitive consecrate of the Order of the Draconites or the Cyclopean spellbinder, the Satuduraki, who captivates with her melodious flute playing.

Also included are:

  • a detailed explanation of the social characteristics of the region as well as the life in its villages and towns,
  • an extensive regional bestiary and herbarium,
  • a freely locatable labyrinth with a matching adventure scenario,
  • new weapons and armour, including the traditional Hylail sling, the famous Pailos and the awe-inspiring Cyclopean bronze armour,
  • focus rules on traits that give your heroes region-specific flair, and a table to inspire or roll your hero background,
  • new special skills, spells, rituals, liturgies and ceremonies,
  • a large chapter of mysteries and adventure hangers especially for the game master
  • and enclosed maps of the region (A3) plus maps of Neetha, Drôl, Rethis, Thegûn, Teremon and Morbal printed in the book!
