The Wars of Wrath
In prehistory, the werewolves worked alongside the another shapeshifter to save Gaia from the many threats to her existence. The pride of the werewolves and their great anger drove them to murder their cousins, so that two races of shapeshifters died out and Gaia's children were broken forever. Millennia later, the double lure of colonialism and conquest once again brought the shapeshifters into conflict, resulting in the death of the Camazotz. Nobody knew exactly what started the Wars of Anger, or what life was like when the shapeshifters worked together, to this day.

The Uncovered Past
Broken Dreams provides a close look at the prehistory of the shapeshifter , both the threats they faced before circumstances drove them to war, and the war of anger itself. Instead of an answer, it shows many periods of time and many ways the war could have started for players and Game masters can create their own prehistory. It also presents the circumstances of the Second War of Wrath, in which players can participate, either as Garou conquistadores or as the Fera desperately trying to hold off an invasion. Finally, the included Chronicle gives modern characters the opportunity to re-visit these defining moments in history in an attempt to defeat the mighty minions of the Wyrm.
