At the heart of the set are the customised foam inserts, in which there are specially tailored compartments for all miniatures.
The four royal figures from the Four Kings expansion are therefore just as well protected against damage as the Great Grey Wolf Sif from the Darkroot expansion. The velvety-soft, fine-pored foam also ensures that the colours of painted models are not scratched.
The inlays for the large Black Dragon Kalameet, Guardian Dragon and Gaping Dragon figures are in two parts. To protect them optimally, simply place the large figures (together with smaller miniatures) in the respective bases. Then place the cover, which has a customised cut-out, over them. That's it.
Many of the inserts have additional compartments for storing small game materials such as (sleeved) cards and dials so that you can keep an overview at all times while playing.
You can conveniently arrange the inserts on two stacks in the storage box. The set includes two foam lids - one as a height leveller and another as a cover so that nothing can fall out of the inserts.
The storage box is made of double-walled, coated cardboard and is therefore lightweight yet extremely hard-wearing. Due to the large overall height of the inserts, they protrude slightly over the edge of the box - but the lid can be closed easily.
Of course, the storage box fits exactly into the transporter bag. The bag is made from lightweight but durable fabric. In addition to the large main compartment, the bag has a small side compartment, e.g. for a rule book. It can be lifted with two carrying handles or shouldered comfortably with the sturdy carrying strap.
