LOCKHEED® F-22® Raptor® is an advanced fifth-generation multi-role fighter. This still somewhat mysterious and closely guarded aircraft was commissioned by the United States Air Force and is subject to a total export ban to other countries! Thanks to the licence agreement, COBI is able to produce the now legendary Raptor!
The high-quality, 1:48 scale model was designed to match the rest of the Bundeswehr collection, which also includes modern military equipment.
The aircraft consists of 695 elements including prints. For the needs of this set, we have developed completely new elements characteristic of the F-22, such as the aircraft nose with the cabin and vertical stabilisers. The model is perfectly finished and smooth, just like its real counterpart with STEALTH technology. The set includes a hinged cabin in which we can place a detailed pilot figure with an oxygen mask. The landing gear of the aircraft can be easily removed to better display the model on the included display stand, which also includes a sign with the name of the aircraft and the US flag printed on it. There are replica bombs in the opening hatch. The detailed block model of the legend of the skies is a real treat for collectors and fans of military technology and terminal blocks. Thanks to the use of high-quality ABS and lightweight construction, our model has the features of stealth technology and is undetectable by radar. But don't check it yourself at home!
LOCKHEED® F-22® Raptor® is a very advanced fifth (latest) generation fighter aircraft in service with the US Air Force. Work on it began in the 1980s. It was built by the American company Lockheed Martin. The first flight took place in 1997 and the official entry into service took place in 2005. The F-22 is characterised by advanced technologies that give it excellent manoeuvrability, radar detection and the ability to carry out both air and ground operations. Its main mission is air superiority. One of the main features of the F-22 is the so-called "supercruise" - the ability to maintain speed above sound without the need for additional fuel support. In addition, the aircraft is equipped with an advanced avionics system, the AN/APG-77 radar and a unique radar camouflage system that makes detection by the enemy more difficult.
