Half-Pint Heroes takes you into a cozy pub, where tempers are on the verge of boiling over. Although many of the guests have only just had half a beer, they're sure to take on everyone in here. So dress warmly, take a seat and you're good to go! Half-Pint Heroes is a particularly fun trick-taking game in which 2-7 casual or connoisseur players, ages 9+, will rack their brains - of course only in a figurative sense!

At the beginning of each round, a card is turned up that determines how many cards the other players get in hand and how many cards are placed face up in the middle. After the deal, each player secretly gives a guess as to how many tricks he will take this round. Then the tips are turned over and each player throws his "betting chip" onto another player's announcement card. If this teammate fulfills his announcement exactly, nothing happens, in any other case these are safe points. Of course, it is especially fun to put a spanner in the works of the player you bet against during the course of the round. Even if it comes at the expense of your own announcement ...

Then, in turn, cards are played and tricks bagged until no player has any more cards in hand. If only one player remains, he can still take tricks with his remaining cards. This becomes particularly interesting when a player has three cards left at the end. Because if a player manages to win three tricks in a row in a round, be it in the middle of the round or at the end of the round, it's a brawl and apart from him no other player receives points in this round!

Otherwise there are points for every trick won, bonus points for fulfilling your own announcement exactly and for successful "bets". At the end of the game, each player receives bonus points for successively completing announcements. Whoever has collected the most points after 10 rounds wins the game and the next 10 rounds can start!
