After decades, the HeroQuest base game and the two expansions "The Bastion of Kellar's Keep" and "The Return of the Witch Lord" have been given an impressive facelift. The new editions impress with detailed hero and opponent miniatures, as well as plastic terrain pieces and nostalgically designed game material.

We have the right foam set for you so that your heroes don't have to beat up broken opponents with broken weapons. Three Feldherr foam inserts and a plastic token holder ensure that you can transport all the contents of the base game and the expansions well protected and neatly in the original base game box.

- A token holder made of robust plastic offers space for small game material.
- All cards also fit with protective sleeves.

- Larger game components - book of rules, screen, game board, book of challenges and oversized cardboard pieces - are placed on the foam lid.
- The set contains foam lids of different heights to choose from, depending on whether you have a tall or flat board game box. Both versions close flush. The foam lids for both versions are included in the set.

- The supplied cardboard insert is no longer required as the foam inserts hold the contents of the box in place.

Three foam inserts ensure that all your miniatures and terrain pieces are well protected. The models, doors and pieces of furniture from the basic game are distributed across two trays, while the miniatures and terrain pieces from the expansions share one tray.

Whether it's a stubborn dwarf, a stone sarcophagus or a terrifying gargoyle, all hero and enemy models and all terrain pieces have their own customised tray. Decorative elements such as rats or skulls can be stowed directly with the corresponding terrain pieces or separately in one of the free compartments.

The customised cut helps you to sort the figures and ensures that each miniature sits firmly in its compartment. Nothing slips out of place, even during transport through the darkness beneath Kellar's Bastion Keep. Sensitive parts, such as swords, scythes or wings, are optimally protected from damage. If you have painted your models, you can be sure that the colours are still intact after transport.

There are additional compartments in the inserts and a plastic token holder for your game material.

You can store your dice in three compartments next to the characters. Small game material such as tiles can be stored in the free compartments and in the plastic token holder.

The token holder can be stored in the high insert. This can be easily fitted into the large compartment with a finger-thick recess. You can store your playing cards in the two compartments next to it. Of course, the cards also fit into the insert with a protective cover. Place the block with personality passports on the token holder.

Sort the small game material from the expansions into the remaining compartments and place the cards with the cards from the basic game.

Once everything is safely and neatly stored, place two of the supplied foam covers on the inlays. The miniatures and accessories are now completely surrounded by foam. Place all the larger game components such as the book of rules, the screen, the game board, the book of challenges and oversized cardboard pieces on the lid of the top insert. Finally, the last lid is placed on top and protects the large game components from damage.
