DU01SET - Foam set for StarQuest board game box

The upgrade for the classic: store all 50 Citadel figures plus game material neatly and safely in the original game box - including card holder and token box.
Just like its big brother "HeroQuest", this classic has been waiting for almost 30 years for someone to look after the welfare of the miniatures and accessories and sort out the mess in the box.
You don't have to wait as long as mankind had to wait for the invention of the space curvature drive. Because with this Feldherr set, well thought-out and customised for your StarQuest board game box, the classic gets the upgrade it deserves.
The set fits exactly into the original "StarQuest" board game box by Milton Bradley (3rd edition). Provides space for all 50 miniatures and the complete game accessories of the base game.
Includes card holder and token box made of plastic for storing playing cards (also with protective sleeve, max. outer dimensions of the sleeves: 60 x 87 mm), dice, chips, blips and rank insignia. The 3 GSG control screens are located next to the foam insert. Game boards, spaceship walls, docking fields, reference cards and chaos control board are placed on top together with the rulebook and mission book.
The lid of the board game box protrudes approx. 2 cm.
Whether Galaxy Safe Guard or Chaos Warrior - the foam insert has a separate compartment reserved for each miniature. From the Dreadnought to the clones to the Gridling, all figures have an individually customised compartment. The customised cut helps with sorting and also ensures that nothing slips around during transport. Sensitive parts, such as the Doom Blaster, claws or sword, are therefore optimally protected from damage. If you have painted your models, you can be sure that the colours will remain intact even after transport.
The optional weapons of the GSG can be stored in three compartments, sorted by colour. There is space for the retaining clips and the wall clips in the large rectangular compartment. The doors and airlocks can be stored in the two narrow, elongated compartments. There are still two compartments left for small parts, such as the pins for the control screens.
And the special bonus: To ensure that all your playing cards, tokens and dice are always where you need them, the set comes with a practical card holder and a plastic token box.
The two boxes fit neatly next to the control screens when stacked on top of each other. The playing cards can of course also be stored in the card holder with sleeves. You can store the dice in the small compartment. The second box for the blips, chips and rank insignia also serves as a lid for the card holder.
Once everything has been sorted, place the foam cover provided on the insert so that the miniatures and accessories are securely packed in foam all round. On the cover, together with the rulebook and mission book, are the game boards, spaceship walls, docking fields, reference cards and the Chaos control board.
All miniatures are safely stowed away and all the game material is neatly organised. Chaos warriors and marines will be fighting fierce battles on the starship for at least another 30 years.
