As Daimyo, you lead your clan - whether Nova, Pulsar, Gammar or Void - in the battle for the Lotus Galaxy. You skilfully forge temporary alliances to ascend the galactic throne as Hoshi's successor. But of course, you can also really hit the table if you have to. Either way, you like to make decisions and usually the right ones.
This makes you predestined to be successful in the board game Starship Samurai (Plaid Hat Games). As the game with the samurai mechs has lovingly designed minis and is also quite extensive, we recommend that you protect the game components and organise them sensibly.
Our foam set for Starship Samurai is ideal for this. The set consists of three customised foam inserts, which together fit exactly into the original board game box.
The first insert has 8 compartments, which are precisely tailored to the 8 samurai mechs. This means that the high-quality miniatures are optimally protected against parts breaking off and possible chipped paint. The two other inserts are identical and provide a safe place for all the accessories in the game. The 32 fighter ships, 4 carrier ships as well as all markers, tokens and (sleeved) cards find a new home here.
Once you have equipped the inlays, place the supplied foam cover on top and the minis and accessories are protected all round. Finally, place the location, player and alliance boards on the foam lid and you're ready to play!
The original board game box has a base area of 285 mm x 285 mm, i.e. the 70 mm figure insert and the two 35 mm accessory inserts are placed next to each other in the board game box. When the board game box is loaded with the inserts, the foam lid and the boards on top, the lid of the box protrudes approx. 2 cm.
