AS02SET - Foam set for Descent: Journey into Darkness 2nd Edition

The terrifying lindworm queen Valyndra has awoken from her slumber and is plunging the land into chaos and destruction. Her insatiable greed for gold is now driving her out of her cave. A small group of heroes oppose her and her henchmen to put a stop to these goings-on. New heroes, monsters and classes come with this expansion for your Descent collection.

To prevent your game box from looking exactly like it did after an attack by Valyndra, Feldherr has developed the foam set for the original Descent: Journey into Darkness Second Edition - Lair of the Lindworm board game box. The set consists of a foam insert (dimensions: 247 mm x 247 mm x 35 mm high) and a foam lid. The material used is naturally chlorine- and acid-free.

The ten new hero and monster figures from the expansion are safely stored horizontally in customised compartments. This protects them from abrasion, which is particularly important for painted miniatures. It also protects the wings of the half-dragon warriors or Reynhart's sword from snapping off.

A further eight compartments help to organise playing cards and markers. The cards, sleeved, can be divided into two differently sized compartments. Markers can be neatly organised in the other six. The game board parts are located under the insert. This causes the lid of the game box to protrude slightly. The foam lid holds the hero cards, the campaign map and the rules and quest manual. Everything is therefore stored safely and clearly organised. This saves time and nerves for the next game.

The set also includes the matching foam cover.
