Now you can become the owner of the legendary German off-road vehicle Kübelwagen TYP 82 in the version made from COBI building blocks! This is our first large vehicle in 1:12 scale from the Second World War! It was modelled on a museum piece in the German Tank Museum in Münster (Germany). It's huge, VERY detailed and looks downright impressive in combination with the upcoming, even larger Legendary Tiger 131 from The Tank Museum!

The set (#2802) is in a class of its own with 1,530 parts and generous dimensions. When folded, the bucket truck is 30.5 cm long. Attention is drawn to the carefully reproduced interior, the outstanding exterior design and completely new elements that have been specially developed for the needs of such a large model. The interior of the car is detailed in all parts, including the steering wheel, seats, buttons, switches and the engine compartment, which contains additional tools! The exterior also raises the bar in terms of accuracy of proportions and detail that only a kit of this size can offer. Suffice it to mention a separate window, opening doors, access to the boot lid and engine compartment, equipment elements and swivelling wheels that can be moved via the steering wheel. Our 1:28 scale models are considered to be very detailed. However, it is the 1:12 scale and 1,530 elements that enable us to demonstrate the capabilities of the COBI modular system. The Kübelwagen represents a new level of design, photorealism and impressive size and precision. In this case, it's the number of blocks that counts!

The Kübelwagen Type 82 was a German military all-terrain vehicle produced during the Second World War. It was developed in response to the Wehrmacht's need for an easy-to-maintain, economical and reliable vehicle for use in a variety of terrain. More than 50,000 of these vehicles were produced between 1940 and 1945. It was mainly used as an all-terrain, transport, ambulance and reconnaissance vehicle as well as a platform for mounting light weapons. After the Second World War, some of the surviving Kübelwagens continued to be used by various countries and were also utilised as civilian vehicles. Thanks to its functionality, lightness and reliability, the Kübelwagen has become a classic symbol of the off-road vehicle and is still appreciated by automobile enthusiasts all over the world today.
