The Opel Manta A is a classic that has gone down in automotive history forever. It is a tailor-made answer to the American Pony Cars (sports cars). The car was characterised by a body that was not only elegant but also dynamic, without unnecessary additions. The spacious interior offered room for 5 passengers and a roomy boot. The engine with a capacity of 1.9 l and 90 hp allowed a speed of 170 km / h. The popularity of the car is evidenced by almost half a million units sold in just 5 years. The phenomenon of Manta-mania was visible in the car aftermarket as well as in mass culture.
