The name "Iron Dames" refers to a special project created and led by Deborah Mayer, entrepreneur, driver and Ferrari ambassador, to support women in motorsport. In 2021, the Iron Dames competed in the Ferrari Challenge, the GT World Challenge Europe, the Italian Formula 4 Championship and, for the first time, the FIA World Endurance Championship with the Ferrari 488 GT3 under the starting number 85.
