Product Description

KV-2 - Soviet heavy tank from the Second World War. It was designed and put into production between 1939 and 1941. The name "KV" is an abbreviation of "Kliment Voroshilov", the surname of a Soviet military commander. The tank's crew consisted of 6 soldiers. The vehicle had frequent breakdowns and was very heavy and slow. However, these shortcomings were compensated for by the powerful 152 mm gun, which could destroy any enemy tank, regardless of the thickness of its armour. The KV-2 was also heavily armoured. In fact, it could only be destroyed by a direct hit from the 8.8 cm anti-aircraft gun!
The 1:48 scale model of the Soviet heavy tank was designed from 510 elements. The building blocks are printed in high quality and show vehicle details and markings. The KV-2 tank has rotating wheels and tracks. The turret and the tank gun are also movable. The COBI building block model is the perfect purchase for a history, military technology and block model fan! Perfect for both fun and serious collecting! The KV-2 adds to the ever-growing collection of World War II tanks being released in compact 1:48 scale. Build history, brick by brick!
