The stand model is a replica of the US M978 Fuel Service Truck. The acronym HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) denotes an all-terrain vehicle with eight-wheel drive, which was produced for the US Army from the mid-1980s. Thanks to its characteristics, the HEMTT can guarantee excellent off-road mobility and significant transport performance. It has become the true "workhorse" of the army, capable of transporting ammunition and equipment in a very effective way. The equipped versions, such as the M978 Tanker, have been developed to fulfil the different military logistic requirements in a very precise and effective way. Thanks to the loading capacity of over 9,500 litres, the tank installed in the vehicle can transport a considerable amount of fuel. The M978 has been effectively utilised by the US. Army in various heavy-duty theatres of operations such as Iraq and Afghanistan.
