The legendary Black Widow in a completely new version from COBI! The 1:35 scale set consists of 138 elements. This sports version of the classic Opel Rekord C model was released under the original OPEL brand licence. New elements and high-quality prints were used for the design of this set. The set also includes stickers with the race number for attaching to the doors. The wheels of the model can be turned and are fitted with rubber tyres. The set includes a plate with the name of the vehicle and the OPEL brand logo. This compact model is perfect for collectors and classic car enthusiasts. Opel is a German manufacturer of passenger cars, sports cars and vans that has left a lasting impression on the history of the automotive industry with many successful models. The breakthrough car for Opel, which exceeded the one million units produced mark in the mid-size segment for the first time, was the REKORD model. The most famous Opel Rekord "Black Widow" was created in secret! As part of the General Motors Group, Opel was excluded from motor racing. Nevertheless, the factory workers prepared a sports version of the Rekord with a 180 hp engine. Thanks to the yellow applications on the black paintwork, it was nicknamed the "Racing Taxi" and "Black Widow". The car became a sensation and took part in spectacular races. Due to bans imposed by GM management, the car was taken to Austria, where all trace of it was lost. Now the automotive legend is back thanks to COBI components!
