COBI-2624 - 720 PCS ARMED FORCES /2624/ T-72 M1R

With a set of COBI building blocks you can build the extremely popular T-72 tank in the M1R modification for the Polish army. This type of tank is only used by two armies worldwide. These are Poland and Ukraine, which received them as part of the aid. The model was modelled in the fantastic scale of 1:35 from 724 elements. The size of the tank corresponds to the other land vehicles that are part of the Armed Forces collection. Especially for this model we have developed a new block in the shape of the very characteristic running wheels of this tank. The model includes movable elements such as wheels, tracks, a rotating turret and a movable cannon. The hatch in the turret opens and you can place the figure of a Polish or Ukrainian tank driver included in the set there. The set includes a brick-built flag of Poland and Ukraine and a shield with the model designation printed on it.
The T-72 tank was put into service in the Soviet Union in the 1960s and became one of the most widely used tanks in the world. In the following years, it became the main armoured vehicle of the Soviet Army and many Warsaw Pact countries. It was produced under licence in Poland and Czechoslovakia. The T-72 tank was widely used in various conflicts around the world, including the Iran-Iraq War, the Gulf War and others. The T-72 tank is an iconic example of a Cold War tank and is still in service in many countries today. Modernisation work is being carried out around the world to adapt the tank to the demands of the modern battlefield. Former Polish T-72 tanks are currently enjoying an uneasy retirement in Ukraine.
