Product Description

With COBI building bricks you can build a battle tank from the time of the Warsaw Pact, when Europe was divided by the Iron Curtain! The T-72 M1 tank set contains a double set of markings for East Germany and the USSR. East Germany bought over 500 tanks of this type from the USSR, Poland and Czechoslovakia. After German reunification, the tanks were decommissioned in the 1990s. In the USSR, the tank was put into service in 1971. Thanks to numerous modifications, the tank is also being developed in modern-day Russia.
The model was modelled in the fantastic scale of 1:35 using 680 elements. The size of the tank corresponds to the other land vehicles that are part of the Armed Forces collection. Especially for this model, we have developed a new clamping block in the shape of the very characteristic running wheels of this tank. The model includes movable elements such as wheels, tracks, a rotating turret and a movable cannon. The hatch in the turret opens and you can place the supplied figure of an East German tank driver wearing a printed uniform with a characteristic camouflage pattern. The set also includes a sign with a printed model designation.
