The stationary model is a replica of the German military motorbike with sidecar.

At the special request of the German army, BMW and Zundapp were commissioned in 1938 to start a joint development project that could guarantee the highest number of common components to optimise maintenance work and spare parts logistics.

The prototypes were released in 1940 and production began in early 1941. The special feature was that the sidecar wheel was driven by an axle connected to the rear wheel of the motorbike.
These were equipped with a limited slip differential and selectable gear ratios to optimise performance both on and off the road
