The stand model is a replica of the Land Rover 109 "Guardia Civil".
The Land Rover was certainly one of the best-known symbols of "Made in England" automobile production and is a real milestone in the history of off-road vehicles. It was born immediately after the war with the first prototypes realised in 1947. In 1971, when the III series was introduced, more than 1,000,000 Land Rovers were produced.
It was available in two versions: the "standard" and the "long wheelbase". Thanks to its exceptional versatility, it was used in both military and civilian applications and was also produced under licence by the Spanish motor company Santana in the 1970s.
