The standing model is a replica of the French cavalry during the Napoleonic War. Hussars and Chasseurs a Cheval formed the backbone of the French light cavalry. Here they are represented in the uniforms of elite companies, characterised by skin hats or by the more traditional shakos of line light cavalrymen. They can be deployed in the second half of the Empire. Among the most famous cavalry commanders we remember Lasalle, who fell at Wagram, and Colbert.
