Product Description

The stand model is a replica of the Lancia LC2. The LC2 was built by the Italian manufacturer Lancia to take part in the World Sport Prototype Championship in the early 1980s. The Lancia LC2 is characterised by a clean and elegant design that can optimise aerodynamic performance. It adopted a Ferrari V8 engine prepared by Abarth with two turbochargers and a displacement of 2,599 cm3 (later increased to 3,014 cm3). The car made its debut in 1983 in competitions where it was able to compete in terms of speed and performance with the Porsche cars, the reference point in racing competition at the time. However, its lower reliability had an impact on the results. Many Italian drivers raced the Lancia LC2 before becoming famous in Formula 1 as Patrese, Alboreto and Nannini.
