With the facelift of the MAN TGX 26.540 in the Euro 5 version 2013, TAMIYA is expanding its RC truck series with another German 3-axle tractor unit. The new radiator grille with the large MAN logo is striking. The 526 mm long and approximately 3 kg heavy kit model of the 2013 MAN truck, which was named Truck of the Year in 2008, can be used to put together impressive combinations.
The proven and robust Tamiya truck technology can be found under the cab, which can be tilted forwards. A powerful electric motor transmits its power to the two rear axles via a shiftable 3-speed gearbox. A detailed aluminium ladder frame gives the model the necessary stability. Thanks to its high dead weight and a fifth-wheel plate, the MAN TGX 26.540 can be coupled with numerous TAMIYA and CARSON-MODEL SPORT trailers.
Almost all sound and light functions of the prototype can be simulated with the optionally available multifunctional unit. The model is supplied pre-painted in the colour TAMIYA TS-54 Light Blue Metallic.
Required accessories:
6-channel remote control (recommended Carson Reflex Wheel Stick), 1x steering servo, 1x switching servo, rechargeable battery, charger, batteries for transmitter, possibly paint for additional detailed paintwork
