The stand model is a replica of the F-4E Phantom II. The F-4 Phantom II was developed by the American aircraft company McDonnell Douglas and is a tandem two-seater all-weather supersonic fighter-bomber. It entered service in the 1960s and is one of the most famous aircraft in military aviation history.
In the original project it was developed specifically for the US Navy, but it was used by all US forces and achieved significant commercial success worldwide. The F-4E version, developed specifically for the US Air Force, has an M61 Vulcan cannon in the nose and can be armed with AIM-9 Sidewinder and AIM-9 Sparrow air-to-air missiles to carry out air superiority missions.

Thanks to its two powerful General Electric J-79 jet engines, the F-4E was able to reach a top speed of 1,240 knots. Speed, thrust and reliability were the Phantom II's strengths, which successfully compensated for its reduced manoeuvrability due to its large dimensions.
