COBI-5739 - 1445 PCS HC WWII /5739/ CONSOLIDATED B-24D LIBER

The model built from COBI bricks is an aircraft with its own name "Axis Nightmare" and a characteristic emblem depicting a grim reaper. This particular aircraft was lost during the war in the Pacific in February 1945.
This amazing model of the powerful historic B-24D bomber has been carefully developed from up to 1,445 1:48 scale bricks. The set uses only permanent prints. You will look in vain for stickers here! To better represent the complicated shape of the glass cockpit, we have developed new block patterns! There are two pilot figures in the cockpit included in the set. The figures also feature very interesting imprints on the back, which are a perfect reference to the battles in the Pacific theatre. The set includes movable elements such as propellers, ailerons and closable bomb hatches. The aircraft is very large. It has a wingspan of 68.5 cm and a length of 45 cm. Assembly is easy thanks to the intuitive instructions with clear symbols. The aeroplane is a must for all lovers of history, aviation, military and military technology. The large number of pieces ensures many hours of exciting building. The set was manufactured entirely in Poland within the European Union.
The B-24 Liberator is an American long-range bomber and patrol aircraft that is also used to combat submarines. It was designed and built by the American Consolidated Aircraft Corporation. Its task was to bomb remote towns, factories, bases and other enemy targets. With the USA's entry into the Second World War, production of the aircraft increased. This aircraft was armed with 8-10 12.7 mm machine guns and could carry up to 3.6 tonnes of bombs, cargo and people. Build it and feel the history brick by brick!
