Product Description
The Army of the Southern States was founded in 1861. The largest contingent was formed by men from Virginia, most of whom were volunteers and not professional soldiers. Many items of equipment were not standardised and uniforms varied widely. The Confederate Army was led by Robert E. Lee, who was a great general both on the battlefield and as a strategist.
