Product Description

The French anti-aircraft gun from the Second World War was produced in collaboration with the Musée Dunkerque 1940 (Dunkirk War Museum) and tells the poignant story of the defence of Dunkirk and Operation Dynamo at the end of May and beginning of June 1940. These were events that had a major impact on the course of the war effort and the memory of them is still alive thanks not only to the museum, the history books, but also the famous film adaptation!

The Canon de 90mm Modele 1939 set has been carefully developed in 1:35 scale and consists of 217 parts. When assembled, the cannon is 23 cm long and 14 cm high. The design includes movable elements such as supports and a gun barrel as well as high-quality prints. The set also includes a figure of a French artilleryman in a uniform from 1940 and a sign with the name of the set. Convince yourself of the accuracy of our model during your visit to the Musée Dunkerque 1940! Complete your collection and build history brick by brick!

The 90 mm Canon de anti-aircraft gun was the successor to the 1926 model, which was known for its high accuracy and reliability. A modified version was produced in small numbers before the war. Those captured by the Germans were given the designation 9 cm Flak M.39(f) and remained in service throughout the war.
