The finished structure reaches up to 35.5 cm in length and provides access to the service hatch, under which is a removable engine! Other features of the model include: movable cannon and turret, access to hatches for the crew and working chain traction. The set contains bricks with the markings of three countries! These are Poland, Czechoslovakia and the Soviet Union. It's up to you which colours you build this tank in! The model uses high-quality, durable prints. The IS-2 tank was developed in 1943 as a successor to earlier models of heavy tanks of the Red Army. Its crew consisted of 4 people. The main armament was a 122 mm gun that could penetrate the armour of the best German tanks such as the Tiger and Panther. The IS-2 played an important role in the Battle of Berlin, where it contributed to the final defeat of the Third Reich.
It was one of the most powerful heavy tanks of the Second World War. Its combination of powerful armament, armour and manoeuvrability made it an extremely dangerous opponent on the battlefield. IS-2 heavy tanks were also used by the Allied armies of the Soviet Union. Therefore, Polish and Czechoslovakian decorations on this military equipment are not surprising.
