The F-16 is considered one of the most versatile fighter aircraft in the world and offers an almost unlimited range of missions. It is a cost-effective, highly available combat system for many areas of operation. Consistent further developments have contributed to this, opening up more and more operational possibilities. The F-16C Block 50/52 was developed as a Wild Weasel to combat enemy air defence positions. For this purpose, the aircraft are equipped with the AGM-88 HARM and an electronic target-seeking system. With an empty weight of 8,432 kg, it is the heaviest F-16 version. Almost the entire arsenal of USAF Air Force weapons can be used in the seven outstations of an F-16C.
