The stand model is a replica of the Tiger 1 version of the Panzerkampfwagen VI armoured fighting vehicle. The Tiger I tank, which was produced in the second half of 1943, was based on the hull of the first operational version used in North Africa and Russia. Initially, this tank had wheels with rubber rims, which were replaced in subsequent productions from February 1944. However, it was equipped with the new turret with increased protection and a better cupola for the commander. In addition, some of these vehicles retained the characteristic Feifel dust filter system and smoke grenade launchers. A magnetic mine paste was also applied to the tanks produced since August 1943, which became standard on all Bundeswehr tanks.
