The floor model is a replica of the M32. Armoured Recovery Vehicles (ARV) were introduced during the Second World War. They were built on the hulls of existing armoured vehicles, with the main armament and turret removed and special equipment installed for the recovery or repair of armoured fighting vehicles damaged in combat. The American M-32 ARV was based on the chassis of the well-known Sherman A-4 medium tank and was used by the US. Army in the European theatre of operations during World War II. It was distinguished by its superstructure, which made it possible to lift and track damaged tanks. In addition, the M-32 carried a wide range of repair tools and spare parts on board, underlining its role as a true "mobile tank workshop" that could be deployed on the front line. The M-32 was even capable of performing complex operations as a tank engine replacement. The M-32 served in the U.S. Army after the end of World War II. Army during the Korean War and it was used by many countries until the 1990s.
