In Granada, on the hill of al-Sabika (which means gold ingot in Arabic), the rulers of the Nasrid dynasty ?(1232 - 1492) created one of the most impressive buildings in world history: the Alhambra. Surrounded by a 2 km long wall, the enormous complex houses the best-preserved palaces of classical Arab Islam.
In Sabika you play noblemen of the Nasrid dynasty who contribute to the construction of this majestic palace complex by building towers, fountains and gardens. You also trade with cities in Europe, the Maghreb and the Middle East to earn the income to pay the high tributes demanded by the Catholic Kings. The game ends with the conquest of Granada by the Catholic Monarchs in 1492, and your goal is to go down in history as the most influential nobles of the Nasrid dynasty.
