The stand model is a replica of the US M4A3E8 Sherman Easy Eight. The Sherman was an important armoured vehicle for the Allies during the Second World War. The Easy Eight was a very widespread variant, which was characterised above all by its horizontal coil spring suspension and smooth running. Some of the Easy Eight also served during the Korean War in 1950. The Easy Eight successfully countered the T34/85, which were operated by the Korean People's Army.
