The stand model is a replica of the MIRAGE 2000C. The Dassault Mirage 2000C is a single-seat air superiority fighter and a reference point for French aircraft production. It entered service in the first half of the 1980s and retained the typical aerodynamic design of the "delta wing". However, compared to the French fighters of the previous generation, the Mirage 2000 has made significant technical improvements. Thanks to its SNECMA turbofan afterburner engine, it can reach the speed of Mach 2.2. It has great manoeuvrability and can carry various offensive weapons. The Mirage 2000C is often considered to be the first new generation fighter produced in Europe to enter service. The main user was the French Armée de l'Air, which deployed the Mirage 2000C in 1991 during the Gulf War.
