The stand model is a replica of the Messerschmitt Bf109 aircraft from the G-6 series, which was the most produced variant at the time with a production run of approx. 13,000 units. This aircraft was used on both the Western and Eastern fronts and dominated the Soviet opponents in particular, as it was in service until the end of the Second World War. The G-6 variant of the aircraft was equipped with two 13-mm MG131s, which were mounted in a distinctive bulge in the cockpit, known as the "bulge".
