The Audi V8 raced in the 1991 German Touring Car Championship (DTM). This V8 was driven at that time by Frank Biela, who took a total of 4 season victories and thus secured the overall title at the end of the season.
The 58682 TAMIYA 1:10 scale model is based on the TT-02 chassis. The wheelbase, ground clearance, track and gear ratio can be adjusted in many ways and with the countless optional tuning parts the chassis can be quickly tuned into a racer. The 4WD drive with central shaft, double wishbones and spring struts on all four wheels ensure a prototypical driving image and best traction. The underside of the chassis is extra smooth and the battery compartment accommodates all common battery types. The visual highlight are the wheel hubs, which have attached dummy brake discs.
