The floor model is a replica of the Challanger 1 used by British forces in the 1991 Gulf War, which was equipped with a 120 mm main gun that could easily penetrate the Iraqi armour of the T-72. The crew of the Challanger 1 was cleverly protected by front as well as side composite and reactive armour. The TAMIYA model kit version also includes two commanders, one of which is adapted to desert conditions and the other is equipped for cold climates in characteristic NATO uniform.
