The floor model is a replica of the German Panzerkampfwagen II. Mass production of variant A of the tank began in 1937. By the end of production, 1088 Panzer IIs had been manufactured, of which variant C had improved suspension. The Panzerwagen II led the surprise invasion of Poland and were the main tank in the attack against France. They were then successfully used for reconnaissance missions until the end of the war.
