The floor model is a replica of the German Jagdpanzer IV 70A, which was an upgraded version of the Panzer IV, built due to significantly increasing firepower of the Allied tanks. The components of the 70A consisted of the chassis of the Panzer IV J, which was equipped with a 7.5cm gun with a 70 calibre barrel. The larger gun required much more space for its equipment, which is why a modified version of the Jagdpanzer IV 70V was used instead of the usual turret. Between 1944 and 1945, 270 Jagdpanzer IVA were produced for both Eastern Front and Western Front operations. A special feature of the 70A was its high firing range as well as its immense penetrating power. The 1:35 scale floor model impresses with high accuracy of fit as well as a high degree of detail.
