Product Description

The Suzuki RG 500 is considered a racing machine icon of the 1970s. The motorbike was developed by the Japanese manufacturer Suzuki especially for racing. At its heart was a reliable and powerful 4-cylinder 500 cc 2-stroke engine that produced up to 90 hp in 1974 and later (1977) even 120 hp.
Suzuki participated in the world championships in the 500cc class with the RG 500 from 1974. The British rider Barry Sheene won the world championship title on the RG 500 in 1976 and 1977. In 1985, production of the racing machine was discontinued. At the same time, however, Suzuki launched the RG 500 Gamma, a production motorbike derived directly from the racing machine.Detailed kit in scale: 1:9.
