Product Description

COBI, together with the German Naval Museum, has prepared a unique commemorative set with reference to the museum exhibit! Seehund (Type XXVII B) is a small submarine manufactured in Germany at the end of the Second World War. Designed in 1944 and manned by a crew of two, she was used by the German Navy in the last months of the war. One of the few surviving ships is on display in the foyer of the German Naval Museum.
The block submarine TYPE XXVII "SEEHUND" was developed in 1:72 scale. The scale of 1:144 previously used for submarines proved to be too small for such a miniature submarine. By using the 1:72 scale, the characteristic shapes of a real ship could be reproduced. All graphic elements are high quality, durable prints. The set includes a block stand and a plate with the name of the set. This set should not be missing in our Historical Collection! Build a history, brick by brick!

  • 181 high quality elements,
