The standing model is a replica of the German Sturmtiger, which was a rarely seen variant of the Tiger I. Between August and December 1944, 18 Sturmtigers were produced, but they were unwieldy due to their weight of 65 tonnes. Nevertheless, they had still been a fearsome enemy to those who encountered them in the Battle of the Bulge, the Warsaw Uprising and the invasion of the German homeland.
