Model Kit,1:24 IVECO Turbostar 190.48 Special

The Turbostar was a great commercial success throughout Europe for the Italian manufacturer Iveco.
Thanks to its reliability and performance, the truck was the most widely used industrial vehicle in Italy in the late 1980s.
The version with a tarpaulin deck was particularly popular, offering great flexibility in the transport of goods.
To improve loading and unloading operations, a hydraulic rear platform was often added to the tarpaulin version.
Another advantage of the Iveco Turbostar was the high loading capacity compared to the moderate overall size.
This meant that the Turbostar could also be used well beyond the motorways in urban areas. From 1991 onwards, a special model, the "Special", was offered.
The Turbostar 190.48 Special was equipped with a powerful 480 hp engine and differed visually from the standard vehicles mainly by a yellow decorative band on the front and door flanks and "SPECIAL" lettering attached vertically to the side flaps.
