For over 50 years, this US manufacturer has been producing trucks that are known for quality and sophisticated design. Since 1981, Freightliner Corp. has been owned by Daimler-Benz AG, one of the largest truck manufacturers in the world. However, all activities and products continue to be run completely independently under the original name. All Freightliner trucks have the basic technical concept in common, but are then (unlike in Europe) adapted in many details to customer requirements. The previous model is a "Conventional FLC 12064T" tractor with 475 hp Cummins diesel and 13-speed Fuller Roadranger transmission.

Adapted to American long-haul transport, the vehicle is equipped with a separate sleeper cab. In the USA, the Freightliner Conventional was nicknamed "The efficient Machine" by truckers due to its performance. A number of these trucks have also been imported to Europe for demonstration purposes and can be seen at various truck shows.

- The high-quality kit from Italeri has to be assembled by yourself.
- The self-assembly is accompanied by step-by-step or illustrated assembly instructions. The assembly instructions are of course included in the delivery.
- Based on the assembly instructions, the precisely fitting individual parts must be assembled. The parts can be painted according to your own ideas.
- Tools, glue and paint are not included in the plastic kit. These must be purchased as an option.
