The floor model is a replica of the Messerschmitt Bf109 aircraft from the G-6 series, which was the most widely produced variant at the time with a production figure of approx. 13,000. This aircraft was used on both the Western and Eastern fronts and dominated Soviet opponents in particular as it was in service until the end of the Second World War. The G-6 variant of the aircraft was equipped with two 13mm MG131- which were mounted in a prominent bulge in the cockpit, this bulge was known as the "bulge".
